QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS:



Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical /Electronics Engineering.


With 2- 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Industry.

Experience in Oil and Gas product & services procurement.

Experience in Oil and Gas product procurement and knowledge in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

Willing to participate and learn from job trainings by assisting good mechanical specialists.

Good physical condition and endurance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.

Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.

Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preferencing study.

Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.

Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.

Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.

Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.

Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.

Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.

Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.

Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.

Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.
Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.

Perform material planning and sourcing for projects buy out materials & services.

Perform buy-out sourcing and pricing.
Establish and meet cost containment / cost reduction targets by pursuing opportunities through alternate sourcing, & benchmarking.

Capable of product or service specification interpretation and generate specification comparison analysis.

Manage and plan key supplier delivery, inventory and acquisition cost.

Support Vendor audit/qualification and periodic assessment procedures.

Strives for continuous improvement by establishing processes for effective procurement process.

Monitor Vendor quality, pricing and delivery issues and alerting Vendors for resolution.

Maintain purchasing and Vendor performance data.

Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region

Travelling to visit potential clients to perform site visits
Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers

Managing and interpreting customer requirements
Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs

Calculating client quotations

Negotiating tender and contract terms

Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
Offering after-sales support services

Administering client accounts

Analyzing costs and sales

Preparing reports of sales and procurements

Recording and maintaining client contact data

Co-ordinating sales projects

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs

Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education

Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts

Solving client problems

Providing training and producing support material for the sales team

Comply with INTECH health and safety policies and general site safety rules and to report any injury, near miss or potentially unsafe condition / hazard or any other occurrence which may cause injury to personnel damage to equipment or affect the local environment using the correct reporting lines.

Support and comply with Quality, HSE, Company Policies and ISO management system documentations and implementations
