Position: Head of ICT – Libyan Wings Airlines

Location: Libyan Wings HQ, Mitiga Airport. Tripoli – Libya

Deadline: 26.07.2018



As Head of ICT, you will be an active team leader - leading/managing the ICT Office’s main sections:

Infrastructure & Security.
Applications & Services.
Web & Cloud.
Technical Support & Help Desk.
Knowledge & Skills:

You will possess the leadership and senior technical skills

Essential (you should be experienced in)

Solid exposure to various technologies/brands (e.g.: Cisco, Microsoft, Dell … etc.).
Administer, Manage and Maintain procedures/processes concerning Network Performance, Connectivity, High availability.
Ensure connectivity, stability and availability of remote sites, branches and offices.
Administer, Manage and Maintain:
Servers (File, Printing, Application and DB);
Network Services (AD/DC, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Virtualization ... etc);
Network Policy and Security (Authentication, BYOD, Firewalls ... etc);
Network components (Routers, Switches, VGW, Call Manager ... etc).
Manage & Maintain users and groups (authentication, authorization, profiles, in-house users, remote users);
Manage & Maintain procedures/processes concerning: Website, Email System, such as:
Availability;
Content Management;
Content Backup and Recovery;
Email System: creation, configuration, follow-up, circulations ... etc.
Manage & Maintain SEO, Ranking ... etc;
Manage & Maintain various web accessibilities e.g.: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP;
Engage with commercial, marketing, sales and pre-sales engineers to verify requirements and expectations for deploying web service;
Be the primary point of contact concerning web advert campaigns and running web & email promotions;
Interface regularly with other business groups to further develop technical skills to improve the delivery process;
Maintain a constant delivery knowledgebase for use in future.
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Writing computer programs for various purposes.
Systems Analysis & Operations Analysis, determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. And Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Convey/Communicate information effectively.
Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Coordination, adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
Monitoring/Assessing performance of applications/systems to make improvements or take corrective action.
Management of Personnel Resources.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.


Fundamental

Proven experience (and exposure) working with various technologies;
Demonstrated ability of working to strict processes and timelines;
Ability to work additional hours during peaks of activity to ensure business objectives are met;
Analyze, isolate and troubleshoot issues;
Ability to work in a team;
Proven ability in resolving project/technical issues;
Advanced user of MS Office specially Excel, Outlook;
Strong ability to communicate (verbally and written) in Arabic and English;
Education: Computer Science/Information Technology BSc or equivalent experience;
6+ years’ experience as a senior technical engineer;
5+ years’ experience as a manager and/or team leader;
4+ years’ experience in technical delivery and project management.
