M&E officer - Migrace

Introduction

Migrace is a humanitarian oriented organization which operates on easing hardships encountered by vulnerable groups. Paying particular attention to the implementation of projects which seek to achieve tangible results that fulfill the developmental orientations of the organization. Migrace currently has multiple projects in progress which are related to the WASH sector and are focused toward the Southern and Northern areas in Libya.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the Project. He/she will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project. He/she will also provide technical assistance to the project manager, particularly in relation to monitoring and reporting issues.

Job Description

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will have the following duties and 1responsibilities:

• Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
  •Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output.
  •Recommend further improvement of the logical framework.
  •Develop monitoring and impact indicators for project success.
  •Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
  •Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results.
  •Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities.
  •Report weekly and monthly progress on all project activities to the Project Manager.
  •Provide inputs, information, and statistics to the Project Manager.
  •Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project.
  •Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use
  •Assist the Project Manager in preparing other relevant reports.
  •Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log for the project.
  •Prepare and maintain the database.

Job Requirements

• University degree preferably in business administration, Economics or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
