Cesvi has been one of the first INGOs intervening in Libya, as soon as the Arab Spring begun in 2011 and is carrying out a Humanitarian Protection Program in Tripoli and Misrata within different settings, included Child Protection program since 2016. The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya” funded by UNHCR, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in Tripoli through Protection monitoring and referrals to targeted services. Cesvi Cash Officer will work, in compliance with Cesvi policies and Code of Conduct, closely with Persons of Concern, mainly refugees, asylum seekers and their families. S/He will be in charge of the cash activities taking place in the CDC. Specific tasks and responsibilities: Duty station: Tripoli Responsible to: S/he will report directly to the CDC Manager and functionally to Cash Supervisor. Requirements: University degree social administration, economics, social sciences, development studies, or a relevant field is an asset. At least 1 year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations Experience in handling cases is an asset. Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset. Previous experience of work with migrant and refugee communities is an asset. Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards Good command of written and spoken English. Good communication skills.
