Candidates will have an interest in news writing and publishing. Candidates will be responsible for writing news stories and creating feature content on topics across the politics, lifestyle and business spectrum

Duties

Write news articles

Edit, proof and rewrite copy to improve readability and ensure consistency

Verify facts, dates and details using standard reference sources

Edit to house style, and enforce editorial policy

Develop story ideas for feature content

Qualifications

University graduate—preferably Journalism /English/Politics

Previous publishing experience, preferably in a news environment
