Job Description:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the Project. He/she will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative data gathered by the management.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen monitoring, and evaluation procedures
- Recommend further improvement of the work;
- Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
- Support management and accountability through routine, accurate collection and reporting of information that confirms status of project activities based on log-frames.
- Analyze the impact of projects and promote learning by documentation of best practices.
- Use this information to support decision-making processes.
- Produce reports on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.
- Check that monitoring data are discussed in appropriate forum and in a timely fashion in terms of implications for future action. If necessary, create such discussions to fill any gap.
- Assist in the development of the management for recruitments/ selection
- coordinate the review all survey reports prepared to ensure quality and accurate reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of program data from the field
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics or Population Studies or training in Monitoring and Evaluation is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar position involving data collection, documentation and reporting
- Ability to collect, analyze and produce good quality data and information
- Proven skills in data management with concrete knowledge
- Computer literacy with possible advanced Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint
- Knowledge in computer statistical packages (SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience in capacity building and mentoring of staff
- Knowledge, skills and experience in participatory survey/research methods
- Experience in use of data to inform decision-making, planning, and performance monitoring
- Good communication skills; oral, written and presentation skills.
- Good management skills (Managing, motivating and developing staff)
- Team player.
Job details :
working shift: Saturday to Thursday 09:00 to 16:00
Salary : after interview
