Rights Respected, People Protected Job Description The Information Management Officer will act as the program national data focal point for a single core competence team within an area office. S/he will help coordinate data and information management between the program and also between the implementing partners, and the Information Management Team at Libya office. S/he will support the program Coordinator and implementing partners with data collection, storage, and reporting. S/he will support the various data collection exercises undertaken by the program on a daily basis. Critical Interfaces By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Generic professional competencies for this position: • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis; • Experience with data management techniques; • Understanding of key privacy and information management ethical concerns and ability to manage information management activities within ethical guidelines; Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience: • Knowledge of the context in Libya desired; • Experience with mobile data capture desired; • Fluency in English and Arabic both written and verbal 2. NRC Libya is working to deliver variety of programming across the following sectors: Shelter, Cash , Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance Technical Assistant (ICLA), and Education.
