Our Outstanding Opportunity

Serve as a Local Support for site safety, perform Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality management (QM) activities both on site and remotely, coordinate the implementation of EHS and Quality processes and plans at project level, within the following functional areas: Inspecting Authorized service provider (ASP) and Employee engagement, and alignment to the code of conduct, quality and EHS rules and plans, regulatory compliance, incident reporting and analysis, Procedures and Quality Assurance system.

You will

  • Based in Libya to perform any onsite inspections in the field work environment and join acceptance visits with customer to understand the customer requirements and update the follow-up checklist.
  • Provide specific support in terms of EHS legal compliance, Code of Business Ethics (CoBE) and Quality requirements.
  • Implementation and management of EHS and Quality Site Audit procedures and follow up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support in establishment of a management system during Network Rollout (NRO) projects, and ensure efficiently structured, implemented, and stayed aligned with our policies.
  • Perform onsite and remote audit to coordinate, control and report quality and violation.
  • Support in Quality and EHS gap analysis and recommend any training and competence development plan.
  • Working in all project geographical areas and attend regular meeting or acceptance site visits jointly with customer and suppliers.
  • Build and improve a quality checklist and installation guidelines for suppliers to use during the installation.
  • Ensure that all supplier’s personnel are equipped with the right tools to perform their job accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  • Root Cause analysis and reporting of fatalities and serious incidents. As well as coordinating the near miss.
  • Manage subcontractors Audits and ensure it’s in sync with Ericsson standards/directives and CoBE.
  • Carry out both onsite audits and remote audits (including risk assessment for field environment) “through Ericsson tools” to ensure that Auditing Management System/Processes are defined at project level and in line with Ericsson and Customer requirements.
  • Perform KPIs measurements, at least on monthly basis.
  • Support in building of a comprehensive documentation system for management, collecting and archiving the relevant processes/procedures and documents according to Ericsson’s policies.
  • Coordinate and review of the EHS & Quality Plan status in the project, status reporting and identification of potential improvements.
  • Support the project manager with communication to the customer and the subcontractors on relevant matters.

To be successful in the role you have

  • Good knowledge of Local EHS legislation and Quality processes, to provide local instruction for safety.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand the Company processes, structure, and equipments to perform audit and update Quality & EHS KPIs.
  • Good skills to be an excellent partner with both internal and external parts(Unit’s, Vendor’s, and customers representatives, …).
  • Ability to climb towers to ensure equipment quality installation on tower.
  • Ability to analyse the results of the Audits, deal with all the non-compliances, asking and handling all documentation or evidences needed to close the audit. Also manage, coordinate the actions, follow up with the 3PPs (subcontractors/service providers ASP) to tackle any non-compliance matters and report critical non-compliance to project manager (CPM) and Vendor Management.
  • Good skills in team-working and teambuilding
  • Very Good in both English and Arabic languages.
