Job Summary:
TSIC Sales Engineers will be play mainly a Junior Account manager role as well as provide sales support services to TSIC Account Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Duties
- Support TSIC Account Managers to meet sales targets set by Sales Managers
- Communicating with Marketing of direct-line feedback from customers with regards to products and services and provide recommendations where re-development is needed.
- Assist account managers to build viable relationships with high value customers
- Support in the acquisition of new customer’s accounts to increase TSIC’s market share.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports
- follow leads with provided by Sales Manager and Account Managers
- Support in the preparation of Financial Proposals in coordination with all relevant departments.
- Support Account Managers and Reseller Managers in billing and sales functions.
- Assist in follow-up with any potential leads and provide support until deal-closing
- Provide support for all sales team to ensure the successful execution of their tasks.
- Act as 2nd line support for high value clients after the Customer Care/NOC with the objective of increasing response times and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Support the Business Development Team during events and workshops geared towards showcasing TSIC products and services.
Communication Channels
Internal Channels:
- Coordinating with Sales Teams to ensure Sales Target achievement.
- Coordinating with all technical departments in matters of provisioning new services
- Coordinating with Financial department with regards to billing and collections
External Channels:
- Communicating with current and potential customers
- Communicating with external supplier’s technical teams
Job Specifications and Requirements
Required Educational Level and Certificates
- Higher Level Education in IT, Business or Marketing
Required Experience
- 0 – 2 years of experience in Sales or other related field
Required Skills and Abilities
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task, priorities, and manage time effectively
- Willing to learn new things as well as have a desire to be part of team.
- Should have the ability to learn quickly and be effective in managing deadlines.
- They should be able to work well under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
Required Knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Visio, Excel and Word report and presentations.
- Proficiency in the English Language is preferred
