HR Officer – Tripoli - International Medical Corps


Position Title: HR Officer
Position Reports to: HR Supervisor
Field Site : Tripoli
Date Needed : March 01

Job Summary
The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is responsible for the day to day human resources activities of the recruitment and make sure
that IMC National Staff Policy & Procedures are being complied with.

Main Tasks:

1) Prepare job vacancy advertisement and organize the interview schedule of candidates.
2) Participate in the selection of new staff including job interviews and skills assessment of candidates.
3) Follow up with the hiring managers regarding any pending recruitment.
4) Update the recruitment tracker, and provide a monthly report.
5) Make sure that all recruitment documents i.e. FSR, job advertisement, job interview evaluation etc. are completed and kept
in the file.
6) Supervises and updates personnel files (personnel, history, contracts, etc) and maintain a copy in the Country Office
7) Prepare the local staff contracts and contact extensions. Summarize staff listings for submission on a monthly/regular basis.
8) Any other duties required and necessary.
Administrative tasks in day to day activities in the field
1) Perform the monthly scanning of documents related to human resources such as contracts (regular or service
agreement).
2) Perform other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
– University degree administrative or equivalent.
– Three years’ experience in human resource.
– Strong communication skills.
– fluent in English and Arabic.
– Microsoft Office.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and amongst
beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time by supervisors
