Front-End Developer – IFES Libya - IFES

The High National Election Commission of Libya (HNEC) seeks a JavaScript Developer to develop applications to be integrated within its Election Management System in preparation for registering candidates, producing election results, and managing the operational needs of HNEC sub-committee offices.

The JavaScript developer will be highly skilled with Vue.js. The developer will be developing user-facing web applications and components. The developer will implement them with the Vue.js framework, following generally accepted practices and workflows. The developer will ensure that he/she produces robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code. The developer will coordinate with other HNEC team members, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers.

VUE.JS

• Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries
• Optimizing applications for performance
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
• Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space
• Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies
• Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices

The Front-End Developer will be hired on a fixed-period long-term consultancy contract with IFES based in Tripoli. The daily workplace will be the HNEC office in Tripoli.

User Management, Login page, Profile page, Change Password, Add Users, Edit Users

Task 2: Dashboard:

Home Page (Info and Statistic)

Task 3: Regions:

View Regions, Add Regions, Edit Regions, Branches, View Branches, Add Branches, Edit Branches

Task 4: Constituencies

View Constituencies, Edit Constituencies, Add Constituencies, Sub-Constituencies, View Sub-Constituencies, Add Sub-Constituencies, Edit Sub-Constituencies

Task 5: Candidate Seats

View Seats, Edit Seats, Set Rules, Seats Details

Task 6: Offices

View Offices, Add Offices, Edit Offices

Task 7: Electoral Events

Electoral Events Rules, View Electoral Events, Add Electoral Events, Electoral Events Rules, View Electoral Events Rules

Other tasks:

• Some updates on the system infrastructure (with Lazord)
• Create databases
• Initialize project
• Add required libraries
