Job Description
TDH’s humanitarian relief operations in Libya began in 2018 and currently cover Azzawya, Misurata, Tripoli, and Zintan. Libyan operations are focused mainly on Health, Education and Protection (CP, PSS, PFA) with Food Security and WASH components as required. TDH continues to work closely with local councils/authorities and communities to provide humanitarian aid.
The Local Administrator will be responsible for supporting project administration and accounting of projects and the delegation.
Job Requirements
- Prepare payments for employees and vendors based on project leader requests and under administrator supervision;
- Prepare your monthly payroll and submit them for approval by the project leader and administrator;
- Write supply and service contracts and contracts with staff in coordination and under the supervision of the project leader and administrator;
- Regularly archive all required expense vouchers and administrative documents;
- Support the administrator in verifying expense receipts;
- Record project expenses in the accounting system and first journal;
- Arrange the payment of taxes for local employees as required by law;
- Other tasks related to the project may be entrusted by the administrator.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Accounting/administrative experience;
- At least two years of experience in similar roles, preferably in international organisations;
- Knowledge of basic administration and accounting rules for humanitarian organisations;
- Excellent knowledge and use of Excel;
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, knowledge of the Italian language is an added value;

- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated gender awareness and gender sensitivity
