Job Description

Job Purpose & Scope:

Slickline Operations are very relevant in many aspects in Oil & Gas Operations.

They have many applications: tubing survey/drafting, gauge installation, wax removal, fishing, open and closing siding sleeve, etc.

Slickline Operators have knowledge of all the equipment related to Slickline, and also basic knowledge on Completions (sliding sleeves, gas lift mandrels and main completion components)..

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To coordinate with the well site team, mobilization arrangements and job requirements.
To carry out a pre-job check-up, checking all components of the Slickline package.
To prepare all the tools that are required for the job (and any other tools that may be required to troubleshoot).
Familiar with use of PPE, H2S Breathing apparatus with strong compliance on HSE.
Identifies safety hazards on well site.
Participates in Tool Box Talks with the team on location.
Proactive in equipment maintenance. Maintain assigned equipment, perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
Apply all the disciplines of safely rigging up, operating and rigging down equipment on location.
Laying and making connections. Check the probable leakage points of all treating iron (if any).
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned always focused on SAFETY STANDARDS,
Key Job requirements:

Knowledge of blow out preventer, lubricator assembly, winch and power pack, down hole sampling, RIH and install manometers, etc.
Knowledge of running and pulling tools, fishing tools, setting plugs, etc
Knowledge of X Nipple, F nipple, Plug PX/PXN, FWG Roller KOT, and other related tools.
Knowledge of computer World and Excel environment.
Perform gradient surveys, setting and unsettling SC-SSSV (tubing retrievable).
Good knowledge of Safe operating procedures and well versed in ESD (Emergency Shut Down System).
Emergency Well control
Has full understanding on auxiliary equipment’s used in job, its coordination needs and associated specialized safety arrangement.
Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.

Minimum Qualification:

Technical education with minimum 3 years hands on practical oil / gas field experience in Slickline operations.
Must have exposure in HSE awareness with regard to oil/gas field hazards.
Good computer knowledge and Fluency in spoken and written English.
Candidate available in Libya will be preferred
