Moomken for Awareness and Media is a non-profit organization founded in 2013. It works on raising awareness among Libyans on issues of importance for democratic transition and community development. The organization also focuses on developing capacities of journalists, media representatives, and national organizations on media related tools and issues, developing voluntary work and matching volunteers to work opportunities, facilitating network opportunities between community members and government institutions, and research and studies on political, economic and social issues in Libya. After achieving our main objectives through the few last years, Moomken has widen its horizons and raised their ambition by working on different aspects with international actors in Libya.
We are looking for a talented, motivated, and creative editor and videographer to join our organization’s Media department. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to maximize the talents of their team. As the Creative director and Multimedia Officer, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. The Creative director and Multimedia Officer should have proven camera and studio operation skills, basic audio recording skills, and solid editing skills. You should also contribute with creative video ideas to the projects you are assigned to. You will work closely with our creative graphic designers to deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our projects and social media presence. He/she will be proactive, creative, organized, and full of ideas and passion for the role. He/ she enjoy working in a diverse role which requires both working alone and with others, and the ability to work well under pressure.
