Trainer - Moomken Organization for Awareness and Media

Background 

Moomken organization for awareness and media was established and registered at the Ministry of Culture and Civil Society in October 2013. It is one of the civil society organizations that works in the field of Media and Awareness. The organization works mainly to educate the public through different media channels such as videos and printed materials, covering different topics that varies from voter’s education to different civic education topics. 

Moomken delivering professional educational and training programs by various media tools to all the community groups in areas that we can reach ourselves or by our supporters and partners. Moomken aims to become a platform for creative and active youth in Libya to innovate in the field of media and awareness on a civil society level and bring forward creative and inspiring ideas that would add value to the com-munity, through providing an environment that thrives for excellence and distinction. 

we are haring a professional trainers in different areas for one of our running projects ”Strengthening Libyan Civil Society Engagement’ on the Functional skills and Democracy activity. It aims to increase the capacity of CSOs members, through intensive training and workshops on the Fundamentals skills. Our targeted CSOs will be from three regions; East, West and South, while immersing E-learning process through platform access, to foster their skills and build strong knowledge ship that can be inherited to other members.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Reviewing our toolkit and provide adjustment if required for the training materials. 
• Prepare Pre-Post questions to evaluate the participants (MSQ not less than 10) 
• Deliver training to approximately 15 participants for 6 non-sequence full days. 

• Guide participants to develop their skills throughout exercises and activities 
• Work with them on improving the impact of the message and vision of the project on terms of increase capacity and promote democracy 
• Write a report evaluating the capabilities of the participants and making recommendations as to the way forward. 

Training 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the specified above subjects. 
• At least five years of successive experience in the field of training in general. 
• previous experience with NGOs’ field 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent command of Arabic. 

• Attentiveness to gender and diversity issues, including gender-sensitive communication.
