Cashier / Accounting Support - The International Committee of the Red Cross

The ICRC Delegation in Libya has a vacancy for:
Cashier / Accounting Support
The position will be based in the Tripoli Sub Delegation
Main Responsibilities:

Handles the delegation’s cash disbursements and payments
Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions in accordance with financial procedures
Carries out daily cash count, control and reconciliation
Checks all receipts, invoices, supporting documentation for payments
Participates in monthly closing activities
Explains cash procedures to all staff
Reports of any irregularities immediately
Coordinates money transfers and help finance department when needed
Participates in cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity and handling cash replenishment from the bank
Translates all invoices and documents related to his work from Arabic to English or vice versa
Files and reports on relevant documents

Required background, skills and experience:

Secondary school or technical college
2 years’ work experience in a similar function
Proven capacity work independently and efficiently
Excellent organizational and methodical abilities
Rigorous and trustful person
Fluency in written and spoken English
Service-oriented, with a strong sense of priorities, flexibility, confidentiality
Excellent computer skills, especially Excel
