Architects Engineer:
Architects Job Summary:
We are looking for a right-brained Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction. You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conversations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Responsibilities:

Designing buildings and other structures.
Complying with public safety regulations, local planning regulations and restrictions.
Overseeing building construction.
Having regular meetings to discuss detailed design proposals and establish requirements
Capturing the design on paper, producing detailed drawings and testing the feasibility of designs with technology such as CAD
Writing construction documents, detailing instructions for construction experts and contractors
Visiting the site and negotiating with contractors and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
Reviewing all design and plan.
Prepare all architect BOQ and reviewing contractors BOQ.

Requirements:

Proven study working experience as an architect
Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
Visual awareness and an eye for detail
Communication and project management skills

Qualifications

BS degree in Architecture
2 to 3 years of professional experience.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
High-level of computer literacy and proven capacity to write activity reports.
Experience working with Programs like Excel – MS Project – Word – Auto Cad.
