Vacancy: Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Summary:
EST is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and innovative individual for a key position as a Senior Electrical Engineer. In addition to the basic qualifications listed, the successful candidate shall possess the skills required to successfully develop and execute project tasks and deliverable s, be a collaborative team player, and have a strong drive to deliver quality project designs to customers. This person will develop and implement the electrical systems design, coordinating with internal architects , civil engineers, mechanical, low voltage systems team and client personnel. Experience in Auto CAD is necessary for developing drawing deliverable, as well as experience with Excel for developing schedules.
Responsibilities & Requirements:

Developing single line diagrams to depict the electrical power system at a high level.
Performing electrical calculations for power and lighting systems.
Selecting electrical devices for power, lighting, and special systems.
Working with other disciplines to ensure electrical and other systems designs are fully coordinated.
Creating electrical and special systems design drawings from concept through detailed design.
Developing electrical construction specifications.
Calculate Bill of quantities; prepare calculation sheets and As-built drawings.
Following projects after construction documents are issued and reviewing submittals, providing electrical design support, and making field visits to verify
Supervising Construction of electrical works, proceeding as per the intent of the design.
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 10-15 years of experience required, preferably in a design firm.
Preferably, the engineer should be a foreigner or local with experience with foreign companies.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters is considered a plus point.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
High-level of computer literacy and proven capacity to write activity reports.
Experience working with Programs like Excel – MS Project – Word – AutoCAD.
