Medical Science Liaison - Alfa Health Care

Medical Department -ALFAHEALTHCARE -Tripoli looking for a highly qualified “Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with the following requirements.
· Context:
o The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Is an affiliate, scientific, non-promotional, field-based role reporting to the medical department
o Act as the scientific expert in the team and work closely with the Medical Manager to contribute to the development and implementation of the affiliate medical strategy/plan through a defined in-field plans.
· Responsibilities:
o Therapeutic Area Experts (TAE’s) profiling, environmental mapping and insight gathering
o Interacting with TAEs to understand their views, preferences and interests, in the assigned therapeutic area, and where ALFA can partner with them to meet their needs where aligned with our strategies
o Providing high-quality medical information for TAEs through peer to peer scientific discussion
o Providing customer insights and competitive intelligence
o Assisting internal team training
o Responding to unsolicited requests from HCPs in accordance to local laws, regulations and codes and ALFA SOPs in close partnership with Med Info
o Understanding and acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice
o Inform Local Safety Responsible of safety issues according to ALFA safety SOPs; and provide scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues
· Qualifications:
o University degree in health science (MD, Pharm D or PhD)
· Experience:
o Professional experience> 5 years within the pharmaceutical industry, in positions with field customer contact
o Experience in oncology and or Hematology is strongly preferred
o Extensive experience in the delivery of scientific presentations and leading insight gathering/communication is essential
o Experience in research and working with investigators and teams of investigators
o Relationships with TAE’s, other medical thought leaders, and external professional, disease, and research organizations is strongly preferred
o Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams is an asset
Knowledge:
Relevant therapeutic area
Appreciates the diversity of working with cross-functional teams
Computer literate (MS office, Google, etc.)
Fluent in English, written and verbal
Knowledge in data analysis and statistics for purpose of understanding clinical study results
