The Free Fields Foundation (3F) is a Libyan Mine Action NGO based in Tripoli, Libya. A private, independent, and non-profit organization, 3F was founded in 2012 by a group of people with shared concerns about the post-conflict ERW situation in Libya.
Looking for/ Database Officer
Responsibilities and Tasks
• He/she is responsible to the OM for ensuring that the NTS activities conducted in Libya are done so in accordance with the SOP and Guidelines and all other relevant national and international standards and guidelines.
• He/she is also responsible for the detailed planning, coordination and implementation of MRE /CL and NTS activities in Libya as directed by the OM.
• He/she will design and manage the delivery of a central Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) database, including both survey- as well as clearance data for operational purposes, in line with international/national standards.
• Develop generic monthly deployment plans for MRE/CL and NTS teams within Libya to directly support clearance operations and other contractual obligations.
• Monitoring the accurate recording and reporting of all MRE/CL and NTS tasks conducted by the Teams.
• Conduct regular Quality Assurance checks on all tasks being conducted by the MRE/CL and NTS Teams, ensuring any errors are rectified and recorded, reporting any errors to the OM
