Title: Project Manager
Job location: Misrata, Libya
The project “Protection Enabling Environment and Resilience Services”, funded by EUTF, intends to strengthen protection and resilience of vulnerable migrants, refugees and host communities in Libya, though multi sectorial protection assistance in Detention Centers and Urban Areas while supporting local stakeholders in developing their capacity to mitigate and respond to protection risks.
Project areas of intervention:
Accessible IDPs communities in Misrata
Accessible host communities in Misrata
Accessible mixed migrants communities in Misrata
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of project implementation, in coordination with all other departments (Finance, Security and Operation, Protection) and in accordance with the donor approved grant agreement;
Ensure that the project objectives and activities are achieved in a timely, cost-efficient and effective manner
Maintain close, monthly communication and positive working relations at all times with local authorities and partner organizations;
Liaise closely with the other local and international NGO staff to ensure proper coordination and effective capacity building in key areas of project;
Ensure positive working environment within the team, supporting the team leaders in staff coaching, supervision and team building.
Work with field teams and logistics to procure project supplies within project budgets and according to the agreed upon work plans/timelines to ensure proper implementation and to spend project resources in a timely and well-planned manner while ensuring donor regulations;
Compile and/or write regular reports, ensuring statistics are correct and reports are drafted on time according to internal review process and donor submission deadlines;
Implement and maintain prescribed reporting systems to monitor and evaluate the objectives, indicators and outcomes of the emergency-related country programs, in line with the donor regulations;
Ensure proper documentation at field level and sharing of all the appropriate documents with the HoB in Misrata and the Management Staff in Tripoli and ensure that the project implementation strictly follows the approved plan;
Attend and participate in coordination meetings at the local level that are relevant to program;
Determine training needs for the project staff and project beneficiaries in accordance with the goal and objectives of the grant;
Represent CESVI in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
Fulfil any other duties relating to nature of the job as may be requested by the Supervisor and any other relevant staff for the best development of Cesvi activities.

Graduate degree from an accredited university with a specialty in social sciences or a related field;
Previous experience in project design and implementation;
Previous experience in the humanitarian field;
Knowledge of project cycle management;
Outstanding organizational skills;
