Security Manager - Tadawul Financial Group

Job summary
Position is split into two distinct functions:

Security Control
Compliance Auditing

The split is to enable all security functions to comply with the scheme requirements through ensuring appropriate segregations of duties between the High Security Area and the Security Control Room.
There will be a rota basis to allocate time between the activities in the Security Control Room and Compliance Auditing. The functions will involve the control, monitoring and maintenance of the security systems within the facility. The aim is to identify and deal with any security matters or emergency situations if and when they arise. The Security Officer should also be in position to provide a deterrence to theft of any company products or information.
During the time of functions being split, the person with the responsibility for Security Control will not have access rights to the High Secure Area. Likewise, the person with responsibility for Compliance Auditing will not have access to the Security Control Room during this time.
Act as secondary security compliance for facility.
Role and Responsibilities: Security Control Room

Staff the Security Control Room at all times whilst on duty. Operate all functions to agreed levels; CCTV, Access Control System, Intruder Alarm, Intercom, Loading Bay Controls, Visitor Management, Security Incident Recording (as appropriate) and any other required duties.
Direct external Security Officers to attend incidents and help co-ordinate situations with Security Management.
Record all incidents in the required format and write clear, concise and accurate incident reports.
Assist with booking in visitors to the facility and covering general reception duties.

Note* “Key Holder” and “Security Level Keys” refer to physical key locks and not cryptographic key management.
Role and Responsibilities: Compliance Auditing

Carry out all security auditing in line with pre-defined audit schedule.
Record all issues arising from compliance auditing and other relevant information.
Identify and report potential security risks within the business, enabling suitable controls to be put in place.
Undertake internal and external patrolling of foot around the facility, reporting any concerns as encountered.
Attend and initially respond to and report any incidents that could potentially affect the security of the facility.

Principal Accountabilities:
To work as part of the security team covering the security / operational shift patterns, with responsibilities for but not restricted to:

Control of personnel and vehicles entering and leaving the facility.
Control of goods entering and leaving the loading bays.
Access control operation.
CCTV Operation
Intruder Alarm operation and tests.
Liaising with all departments on day-to-day security issues.
Issue and control of medium “Security Level Keys”.
Conducting searches of personnel / lockers and vehicles.
Controlling searches of missing items.
Assisting or controlling emergency situations.
Processing of all new starters and leavers.
Security duties as directed by the Security Manager.
Monitoring of all Fire Alarm Systems and control of evacuations.
Internal security auditing of all relevant security processes.
Incident response and call-out to site for emergency situations (related to alarm monitoring) and operational support for business needs.
Closing and opening of the premises, when applicable, to ensure that they are open for employees to enter the premises prior to shift and once all employees leave, to lockdown premises. This will require attending site early for opening (around 45mins prior to shift start) and late for closure (until site is secure).

Other Duties:

Carry out “Key Holder” duties in case of incident response and call-out, during out of hours operation.
Carry out special duties, e.g. attend to and assist with any emergency incident as directed by the Security Manager.
Undertake staff training as required and receive guidance and instruction from the Security Manager when necessary. Help train new members of security staff.
Actively participate in providing a comprehensive security system which protects the business and develops a strong compliant system.

Education / Position Requirements:

Certification in the completion of Secondary Education.
Security industry accreditation or certification (if locally applicable).

Desired Experience:

Security industry or relevant similar 2 years experience .
