Logistics Specialist - ALMAYSSAM COMPANY



1 x Logistics Specialist
REPORT TO: Parts Manager
POSITION CONCEPT:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  Responsible for processing parts importing documents required from abroad

  Maintain contact with forwarders to ensure optimum order rates and delivery schedules
Evaluate alternative potential foreign sources of parts shipping and analyse those most suitable and cost effective to the company 


  Liaise with Local Purchasers regarding the optimum (foreign or local) source (regarding quality, availability, logistics and price) of parts

  Research the market for potential additional franchises which might be beneficial to the company & report to immediate manager accordingly

  Make periodical orders as planned, maintain contact with shipping company, negotiate and review the shipping rates and ensure timely deliveries
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager

Qualifications and Skills:

Computer literate
Ability to speak and write English language
Experience in Logistics and Shipping
Must be a dynamic and self-motivated individual
Knowledge of Auto parts 

Be professional
Be passionate about sales
Have customer service experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good selling skills
