Supply chain coordinator - Trans Sahara Oil and Services



Position:                         Supply chain coordinator – Trans Sahara Oil and Services
Location: Tripoli.
Reporting to:                          Supply chain department manager.
Working hours: Sunday – Thursday 09:00 – 16:00.
Annual leave:           30 days / annum.
Probation Period:                 3 months
Starting Date: 1 of December 2019
Contract  As per the Libyan law.
Tax & Social Security            As per the Libyan law.
Job Duties:

Create new supply opportunities to new customers.
Review and contract related vendors.
Ensure the capacity and flexibility of the supplier is closely followed and reported.
Attain good costumer relation concerning their requirements and supplies.
Create and maintain a vendor list for frequently requested items.


Works closely with the Sales Director to ensure the best supply chain solutions are achieved.
Review and forward vendor corrective actions.
Ensure accuracy of inventory locations and correspondent suppliers.
Responsible for costs, methods and results recording.

Requirements:

Follow up on personal KPIs and department KPIs by performing the tasks as described above in order to reach the organizational targets.
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Business Administration, Information. Technology or Industrial Engineering. Relevant education or equal qualifications.
Driven, self-managed and results-oriented.
Strong customer-focus and service mind-set with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Strong internal/external networking capabilities.

Carries out all duties and responsibilities with the utmost integrity and consistent with the highest ethical standards.
Remains flexible and responsive to changing conditions.


Ability to work variable schedule as required.

Ability to communicate, persuade and make effective presentations to leadership.
Ability to utilize mainframe and application based systems as well as EDI and MS Office proficiency.
Second language is highly favoured.
