Mission
The application engineer has the responsability to carry specific tasks on a customer project, typically application development, verification and validation, FAT support and technical support to SI. You will be in contact with customer, therefore in-budget, on-time and in-quality delivery are our ultimate goals.
Job Responsibilities
•She/he is part of the engineering team, and functionally reports to the Technical Leader of his projects.
•Application Engineers must learn and master their tools, mainly Control development environment (PLC/DCS) and HMI (SCADA) environments.
•Most of the activities are on Integrated Control and Safety System projects.
•A successful Application Engineer in our team can grow either on technical management path (Technical Leader role) or on technical depth (Consultants role).
Requirements:
•Wonderware technology knowledge (e.g. InBatch, Intouch, System Platform, Skelta BPM, MES…),
•Experience with company delivering fixed-price projects (e.g. System Integrators, Automation Vendors, Process OEM companies).
•Hands-on experience with automation including engineering and commissioning phase.
•Structured engineering processes (EPC customers or similar).
•Strong customer-focus and service mind-set with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
•Ability to perform well under pressure.
•Strong internal/external networking capabilities.
Personal skills:
• A passion to learn technology, with demonstrated self-learning skills,
•Flexible and tolerate uncertainty,
•Master English as primary work language.
Nice to have:
•Schneider Automation software (e.g. Tristation, Unity, FoxboroEVO, VijeoCitect, ClearSCADA, PES, …)Experience with Schneider Electric Automation hardware (e.g. Modicon, Foxboro, Triconex, PACDRIVE, …)
•Networking design and troubleshooting experience,
•O&G project experience
Other requirements:
•Able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally to support projects needs.
•Willingness to learn Italian both spoken and written.
