The Petroleum / Reservoir Engineering function is looking to hire a Lead Petroleum Engineer in Libya on a permanent basis who will be responsible for the following:
 
* Assist in representing tNavigator reservoir modelling software in Libya.
* Assist in the business development of tNavigator reservoir modelling software in Libya
*Leading evaluation on production forecasting and resources assessments
* Leading operations and development operational planning on issues such as surface infrastructure, well surveillance, surveillance planning etc.
* Looking for sales opportunities in the region
* Leading the planning and execution of appraisal well drilling, including definition and oversight of data gathering programs from drilling operations.
* Leading and carrying out subsurface reservoir analytical studies and assessments, and presenting the results of studies to various parties
* Support clients and respond to any of their technical issues
* Coordinate RFD activities in Libya
* Liaise with RFD technical support when required to assist in troubleshooting and gain *technical solutions and software upgrades as required
* Give software training courses to existing and potential clients
* Assist in company activities in the region
* Execute regular reporting exercises such as activity reviews and monthly reports.
 
Requirements
Based in Tripoli/Benghazi
Bachelor or Master Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of reservoir simulations work experience.
Proficient in industrial standard reservoir simulation software.
Extensive experience of working in international and culturally diverse environments
Integrated team-working experience.
Highly effective communication, influencing and interpersonal skills; proven track record working collaboratively and at being able to build consensus but also able to effectively and constructively challenge
Deep understanding of uncertainty management workflows.
Broad understanding of subsurface and ability to work independently across full spectrum of sub disciplines
Strong Operational reservoir engineering with extensive experience of production optimization
Proven commercial understanding of oilfield lifecycle
Expert in Production forecasting and reserves
Excellent communication skills.
Solution oriented.
Willing to travel.
Work under Stress.
Fluent in spoken and written English
