Grants Specialist (GS) – Benghazi - Libya Transition Initiative (LTI) 3

The Libya Transition Initiative 3 is an international development program in Libya. The goal of LTI 3 is to establish and manage a quick-response mechanism supporting activities that provide essential services to the community and reinforce stability to help build an inclusive and peaceful future in Libya.

LTI 3 seeks the following position to support its program in the Eastern Region, based in Benghazi. Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are required for all positions.

Grants Specialist (GS)

The Grants Specialist (GS) will assist with the structuring and implementation of the project grant fund, participating in grant solicitation and selection, grant award, grant implementation, grant and contract monitoring, evaluation, and closeout. This includes: ensuring that all grant activity is compliant with donor and project policies, assisting with analysis of budgets and cost estimates for reasonableness and consistency, overseeing the implementation of grant agreements as well as the closeout of the agreement, advising and assisting the Project Development Officer (PDO) and other staff, as required, with grant implementation and monitoring and evaluation, maintaining complete and updated grant files in both digital and hard copy format, coordinating as needed with procurement staff to ensure the timely delivery and proper reception of items procured by the project on behalf of grantees. Two years relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.
