RF Optimization Engineer - ADALIL Telecom & IT Technology

Location: Tripoli or other City in Libya
Start Date:  TBC
Duration: 6 Months extendable
Key Responsibilities will include:

Carry out heavily self training on technology and products subject to support.
Manage a geographic area’s 2G/3G/4G voice & data performance, optimizing new and existing sites to agreed KPIs, in swap environment.
Carry out daily drive test and collect the data using drive test tool
Manage area wide optimization and network quality improvement workstreams
Produce daily and or weekly reports when required to identify trends as well as possible network issues.
Produce radio optimisation plans to achieve quality targets for area of ownership
Provide support and fix of performance related issues affecting customers which may require additional support from third parties to progress to resolution.
Provide presentations to share knowledge to the Optimization team. 

Requirements

Good knowledge of current Ericsson & NSN 2G, 3G & 4G features, key parameters, counters, OSS and optimization tool set.  
Good breadth and depth of understanding of 2G/GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSPA/HSPA+/4G/VoLTE technologies.
Good understanding of RF principals, design techniques and network architecture.
Hands-on experience of air interface optimization of multi-layered multi-band network.
Good understanding of the fundamentals of capacity management.
Good understanding and hands-on experience using drive test tools (TEMS/NEMO), Network
Relevant academic degree (or equivalent)
General computer/database skills (MS Office, Mapinfo, SQL)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Negotiation   Skills
Analytical thinking, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems
Excellent Organization skills
Self starter and team player and self leaner
English Language ability (speaking & writing)
