Job Description – Network Engineer.
Location: Benghazi.
Working hour: Sunday –Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Annual leave: 30 days /annum.
Contract: As per the Libyan law.
Tax & Social Media: As per the Libyan law.
Duties & Responsibility:
- Having the full responsibility for the HW & SW for the ends users (Pcs, laptops , printers ,,,etc )
- Solving IP looping issues.
- Configuration of switches.,Vlans , DHCP ,SFTP ,ftp subnet ,,,etc .
- Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, hardware’s
- Providing reliable internet connection to the end user for their daily use.
- Primary responsibility for all infrastructure, installation, maintenance, management and troubleshooting of all related networking equipment and applications from LAN perspective.
- Monitoring Networks, Installing and Configuring.
- Secure network systems.
- Designing Networks such as connecting Cables, Switches, and Router.
- Handle day-to-day maintenance for end users, troubleshooting, and proactive performance tuning.
- Ensure the implementation of testing, UAT, backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Primarily responsibility for POS configuration, connection & Monitor.
- Develop & deploy technologies that support the company’s strategy & activity.
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to provide efficient running solutions & deliverables
- Review & implement relevant IT policies, procedures and best practices.
- Attendance of all meetings & workshops.
- Work in agile environments so adopting a new change in requirements.
- Answer all of the client phone calls during the working hours.
- Transfer the knowhow to the local team.
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates).
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others.
- Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with TT related team for LYD & MNO from all aspects
- Any Other Upcoming Strategic Projects or task requested by line manager.
- Flexibility on answering phone calls from client or line manger after working hours.
- Provide the needed support in cases of emergency situation after the working hours.
- Provide weekly updates for the scope delivery to TT management.
Qualification & Key Capabilities:
- 3-5 years of experience as an IT engineer or other relevant roles.

Knowledge of:
Network Diagnostic (Wireshark, Solarwinds, MRTG, TCPdump, WinDump).
Network Equipment (Cisco, HP…).
Network Protocols.
Operating System Technology (VMware, Linux..).
Workstation Technology (Windows XP, Windows 7…).
Security Discovery (NMAP, Nessus).
Security Controls (McAfee NSP, Juniper,).
Security Monitoring.
VPN Technology.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
