Finishing Manager - inabah company



Job Description
We are looking for a Finishing Manager who is responsible for all day to day activities for finishing contractors on site , ensuring that each project is delivered to the Client to the required quality standards and within agreed timescales. In addition, the Finishing Manager will deputise as an interface  for Inabah construction throughout construction and handover.

Responsibilities and duties 

 

Ensuring that the finishing Plans clearly understand the phasing system and progress
efficiently through the zones in a planned orderly manner, completing all works as necessary.
Establishing clearly defined phasing zones within the building.
Ensuring planned, collaborative co-ordination between the finishing sections as they progress through the phased zones.
Holding daily meetings with the  contractor to plan and organise her work.
Ensuring all phased zones are kept clean and tidy and that finished works are protected through to handover.
Ensuring compliance with Building data sheets, drawings, specifications, workmanship clauses and quality standards, including general standards
Working with the Inabah Project Team to ensure that the project is delivered cost effectively and within budget.
Working with the Contracts Manager on all matters of progress and programme and the general direction of the project
 Attending weekly internal project review meetings to help the team progress the works in an efficient & professional manner.
Assist with the coordination and organisation of sub-contractors and direct labour force, ensuring the site is ready for incoming  activities . 
Programming, phasing, sequencing and management of site based resources to facilitate the complete the project in an orderly and efficient manner.
Work with the Contracts Manager to implement design changes as the works progress. 
Regular liaison with the project team to successfully achieve the Company’s objectives
Assist with the management of all operatives in a safe.
Ensure all works done according through the designs and documentations .

 
Requirements

Proven working experience in construction management or similar role
Good knowledge of construction management processes
Experience with construction management software packages
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
Outstanding knowledge of building products,  Finishing details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Good time-management skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Critical-thinker and problem-solver
BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field

Skills 

Strong written and oral communication skills .
Strong interpersonal skills .
Strong negotiating skills . 
Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project,
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people. who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.

Working Conditions

Work in an office and field environment .
Must be able to travel for working around libyan cities .
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines .
