Material controller - Mabruk Oil Operation

Activities
The jobholder will help the Material & Warehouse Coordinator.

Coordinate warehousing and inventory functions.
Be involved in the process of all requisitions for stock purchase.
Maintain stock records using manual and/or computerized systems.
Attend Yearly stock inventories.
Prepare reports on adjustments to inventories.
Prepare reports on surplus and obsolete stock.
Check all new requisitions for re-stocking.
Check all updates to the item catalogue.
Responsible of efficient and timely ordering and control of spare parts
Creation of new vocabulary for the new items.
Liaise with end user to optimize the item’s management levels.
Compares nomenclature and Part numbers and other listed information with catalogs, manuals to verify accuracy of system item catalog.
Manage and control the release of spare parts between different fields.
Implementation of company rules and standards.
Monitoring stock items movements.
Supporting decision makers through analysis reports.
Sites Visit on Regular Basis.
Coordinate with Warehouses Team on a Daily Basis.
Issue of MRR.
Prepare weekly report.

Responsible for identifying slow moving items and suggest alternative items to the clients, at the same time, responsible for identifying fast moving items and highlighting these for early re-ordering
Accountabilities

Follow-up the accomplishment of inventory management activities.
Assure adequate supply in consideration of past and anticipated demand or consumption and stock rotation

Review the status of the non-moved materials and propose ways of disposals as per policy and procedure
Qualifications / experience required

University degree, Technical high school or specialized training.
Professional experience: minimum 5 years in store keeping and material management.
Good English, Good background of Excel / word and ability to assimilate the stock management software.
Good communication skills, active, listening learning, time management, organization.
