Junior Network Engineer - Miza Financial Services

Job Description
To provide technical support, day to day maintenance and monitoring of networking infrastructure (hardware, software & security) both LAN and WAN, for both corporate and Internet networks.
Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility. The post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the manager.
Technical Responsibilities:

To assist with the administration and maintenance of networking infrastructure (LAN and WAN for both corporate and Internet) to successfully deliver the availability, security, and operations of network.
To assist the Senior Network Engineer in deploying reliable, scalable, and maintainable corporate and Internet networking infrastructure, according to accepted industry best practices and standards.
To provide first line out-of-hours support for networks and systems as part of the IT Operations team.
To respond to requests for assistance from colleagues and internal customers ensuring that they are dealt with in a pleasant, professional and timely manner.
Manage utilize, support, and Monitoring the use of the Internet by employees.
Manage the licensing and end of life of software and products.
Managing email, anti-spam and virus protection.
Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords.

Other Responsibilities:

Preparing technical documentation.
Reporting network operational status daily.
Searching, Test and Recognition at Tools/Applications those may help to improve our network performance.
Other related work as required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree of computer or communication engineering, or equivalent in high institute.
0-2 years of networking field.
Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls, including command line configuration.
Good  communication skills.
Breaks down issues.
