The project “Life Saving Assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Libya”, funded by UNHCR, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in Western Libya through protection monitoring, provision of psychosocial assistance, management of a Social Centre and capacity building for the Libyan civil society. The Receptionist will be in charge of sorting out the inquiries of persons of concerns both at the CDC and through phone calls. S/he will refer the cases to the relevant services.
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
Will respond to public enquiries and be Focal Point for Hotline Log including referrals of cases to the relevant services;
Greet/assist, and direct visitors and general public;
Manage CESVI hotlines, answer all incoming calls and handle callers enquires whenever possible;
Provide secretarial support;
Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings & conference telephone calls;
Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system;
Perform other related duties as required;
Closely coordinate with CESVI staff and participate in meetings;
Any other duties relating to nature of the job as may be requested by the Supervisor for the best development of Cesvi activities.
Duty station: Tripoli- CDC
Responsible to: Line Management (hierarchically and functionally) with CDC Manager in Libya and to Project Manager and Expatriate Staff in Tunis.
