L1 technical support engineer:
With general direction and supervision, this position provides effective customer service and field support to clients by performing routine and moderately complex activities to install, repair, upgrade, test and maintain networking and wireless systems (e.g., telecommunications, LANs, WANs), hardware and software, diverse development platforms, technologies, and tools. With detailed direction, may assist or perform work activities of a complex nature.
Responsibilities:
Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
Update customer data and produce activity reports
Walk customers through problem solving process
Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
Ensure proper recording, ticketing, documentation and closure
Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
Provide field visits to customers and company infrastructure whenever needed
Work with other team members on new projects
Working hours:
Working hours will be in the form of shifts Based on work requirements From Saturday to Thursday as follows: 8 AM to 4 PM Or 2 PM to 10 PM 8 AM to 12 PM, 3PM to 10PM On Fridays
All Saturdays are working days and will be considered as overtime according to company policies At least 2 Fridays each month are working days and will be considered as overtime according to company policies
Transportation:
Employee must have a private car and valid driving license Employee must be able to drive manual transmission cars Employee is responsible for transportation of all field trips inside Tripoli Employee is responsible for transportation from and to company Employee will be paid for each site trip according to company policies
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc. Degree in telecom, computer science or relative field
- Good writing and speaking English skills
- CCNA course
