Job Description
As part of our growth in Libya, we are seeking to recruit a ‘Business Development Executive’ to join our Tektraco Libya branch office. In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:
- To identify upcoming public and private projects related to our fields of activity (Laboratory, Telecoms and Medical) .
- To market intensely Tektraco’s activities through regular visits to potential clients as well as our existing list of clients.
- Registering company with Oil + Gas and other Companies/Institutions in other sectors.
- Collect RFQs from business organizations.
- Respond to customers’ technical queries in a timely manner and professionally..
- Co-operating with Department Manager to determine strategic approaches for sales.
- Identifying and establishing new customer to increase market share.
- Organizing daily sales visits within all the Libyan territory.
- Providing presales and post-sales support.
- Submit reports for head office review.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Understanding and responding to technical queries about our scope of supply.

Requirements
- A degree (or equivalent) preferably in Commercial / Business Studies.
- An aptitude towards technical Engineering and/or Scientific subjects will also be looked at positively.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel/word/PowerPoint).
- Further qualifications are an advantage.
- Ability to travel as and when required.
- Excellent communication and presentation Skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Arabic language skills would also be considered an asset.
- Working experience in this role or similar will be considered a strong asset.
- Possessing a good network of Business connections in various Industries will also be considered a strong asset.
- Be a very good team player and at the same time be able to plan & work on your own initiative.
- Be proactive and have the drive to follow up and support our clients’ requirements.
- Able to meet set targets.
- Possess good negotiation skills.
- Good judgement and analytical ability.
- Be good at problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Commercial/Technical awareness.
