About the job :

  • Responsible for leading the implementation of a MEAL framework and protocols for MEAL activities relating to specific sectors in area of responsibility.
  •  Provide technical MEAL staff management and support among Tripoli office.

 

Main responsibilities:

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning:

 

  •  Lead rollout and continuously update accountability framework and lead on implementation of programme wide feedback and complaint mechanisms.
  •  Ensure the development of appropriate monitoring, tracking and reporting tools that enhance monitoring of program outputs and quality.
  •  Generate quality evidence on program outcome through development and implementation of qualitative and quantitative assessments.
  •  Support Evaluation activities as assigned by MEAL manager, acting as focal point for evaluations at area level.
  •  Support programmatic sectors within area in documentation of lessons learnt.
  •  Regularly present assessments key findings to the Area Management Team for further development.
  •  Coordinate, facilitate, and act as focal point for third party monitoring activities at area level.
  •  Implement and lead other MEAL activities as instructed by MEAL manager.

 

Information management::

  • Utilize and contribute to the development existing information management systems, including data collection and analysis.
  • Provide technical support to field staff in relation to quantitative data collection.
  •  Coordinate with Information Management staff the data analysis and presentation.

Technical support:

  • Capacity build, and support field staff to improve the field monitoring or any other MEAL needs.
  •  Lead the MEAL team at area level, providing continuous technical support.
  • Proactively support and advice on recruitment and induction of MEAL and relevant programme and project staff.
  • Lead information sharing and presentation of Monitoring and evaluation findings to field teams.

About you :

  •   Minimum 3 years of technical experience in M&E, and information management.
  •  Previous staff management experience.
  • Proven ability to implement and lead qualitative and quantitative M&E methods.

 Moreover, we also expect the following: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree statistics, research methods, or a similar field.

  • Contract length: 6 months
